I cannot open a box cereal. I either tear the cardboard so it never closes right or I rip the plastic bag wrong so it won't pour right or, on a really good day, I do both thus rendering the whole box a total mess for the next 3 weeks.
I also have trouble with products that have rip off sections that leave you with a re-sealable zip top.
The rip never goes right, I end up having to cut it...then, again on a really good day, even after using the scissors the package will have been marked wrong and I still can't get to the darn zipper.
Is their hope for me?

Yes, there is hope for you, but none for the 'easy open' packages. They have taken tamper proof to a whole new level.
Thanks for the giggle this morning. I thought it was just me ;) Don't get me started on the child-proof medicine that my son can open.
Never feel alone, Kevin messed up a new package of shredded cheese this morning.....the kind with the little zip lock slider thing, and now, it's in a reg zip lock bag...LOL.
I have cereal in plastic tupperware containers.........because we have similar issues.
Have a good day........you are funny!
I ALWAYS tear the cereal boxes! Every stinkin time. Not a good thing, but that is why I got some tupperwear cereal containers, they have saved me many times.
ooo I hate opening cereal boxes. They are so thin now that they rip so easily. I can totally see you in there w/ your scissors cutting open the package of cheese.
Oh, I have the same problem with the rip-off tops on resealable cheeses! Drives me crazy!
You are SO NOT ALONE!!! You just described me to a tee!
I have the same problems sometimes, so don't worry there still is hope for you.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a very Happy Mother's Day!
hmmm, I thought I was the only one with these issues!
I am SO with you on this. I'm often too impatient to open things the right way, which is why cereal often spills every which way when I pour it. :) Hope you're having a lovely Mother's Day!
Dude! That same stuff makesmecrazy!!!
Just get some tuppertainers and pour your cereal in them. It'll look pretty, regardless of how you destroy -- I mean, open the box!
I'm officially BANNED from opening all cereal related items in our home. Ben has perfected the opening process and has thereby assumed all opening duties. :-)
