Liquid, Solid, Liquid and Visa Versa

These two sisters are sharing again. Just not the kind of sharing we like to see.

Lauren shared her runny nose, her sneezes, her cough and her fever with Hailey.

Now, you tell me, how sweet is that? Hmph.

So I had both girls home today...a whole week without a single hour alone in my house. A preview to summer?

So today we did some Liquid to solid and back to liquid then some solid to liquid and back to solid...

We started with Ice Boats - I have to admit these were WAY FUN!

Then we moved on to Chocolate Circles. These were fun for the girls - and yummy too!

So here's hoping everyone goes to school next week! With my luck our school will get a case of the "today's name flu" and close for a week!

You are the best mom ever! I have always said that. Especially watching your patience with Lauren, when she was a baby/toddler.

Being a stay at home mom is the hardest job I ever had. I am very thankful that I was able to stay at home. Being the "Grams" is the very best!

You are one crafty momma. If my oldest son was home sick, I would have plopped him in front of the TV and played movies all day! LOL!

I agree with the last comment - that's pretty much how I handle sick days! However, I'm very impressed with your crafts. What book did you get those out of? Have a good weekend!

ooo very fun activity! I agree w/ Grams the best mom ever :-)... Im totally going to steal the ice boat idea for Sammy. He is so into calling everything "hot" even frozen things :-P Then he blows on it.. We finally got him to say brrr so he says hot and then brrr.. I need to record it.. its hilarious!

You are pretty much the most amazing MOM EVER! Look at you -- sick kids at home and you're still using your day for teaching moments.

Totally going to make frozen boats with my kids...one of these days -- that'd also be a fun project for a wading pool.

Hugs!

Alex would love those boats. He's forever making up concoctions and freezing them and he loves playing in the water.
