Scratching the itch

Well, with the snow all melted and the warm temps moving in and the allergies filling up my sinuses and making my eyes itch - the girls have a different kind of itch they need to scratch. It is time to hit the links. They LOVE it - funny thing is, even with several years of Jr. Golf, I stink at it but I love taking them.

Lauren's first day out was a lesson with the Pro at Grams country club. NICE guy! Lauren did great! And had fun too! (photo and lessons courtesy of Grams Blackberry)

Hailey's first day out was a trip with me to the public course near our house. She is the talk of the town when we show up Little clubs strapped to her back and all! (photo courtesy my blackberry)

Our second trip out (earlier today) Back at the Country club (with a glimpse of Gramps in the background) Check out her follow through....

And this little one with a big ole Driver at the helm (see the 1 or so balls off to the left, those are hers)

Awwww...how adorable are they! Boo loves golf too, and has her own clubs. Hunter moved up to an adult set last spring, and loves it!

HA...that is so funny that you took the girls out for golf because I took the boys to try this "indoor virtual golf" place today. Warm weather breeds golf.

I think you've got a couple naturals over there -- and I had to chuckle at Hailey's outfit -- she's a trip and a half!!! :)

It's so wonderful that your parents take them out. What great grandparents!!!

How sweet! Your daughters are just too cute swinging those clubs.

My husband and I golfed all the time together when we first were dating and after we were married. Once the first baby came along, our golfing was reduced to once a week at each of our perspective leagues. Now with three kids I don't golf at all, while my husband does once in a while with friends on weekends and in his weekly league.

Today my hubs, his friend and our 6yo old son are going to head out to play. It's going to be beautiful Up North, today, too.

It's nice to have spring back again (except for the sniffles). The girls look like they are having a great time.

So cute keep it up and you might have a little golf pro on your hands.

Have a great weekend!

So much fun!! They look like naturals! My sister got Sammy a plastic set for his birthday this year. I use to play in high school (just for fun not on our team) and loved it! I should try and pick it back up again.

Keep 'em going at golf. There are a ton of college golf scholarships for girls. I keep trying my daughter into it. Maybe if she had a cute bag like Hailey...

Precious! I'd carry those prissy pink clubs everywhere if I looked that good.

So cool! My dad can't wait to get our girls out on the links. Did I say that right? I'm not a golfer myself... but I try to use the terminology. ;) Have a good weekend!

Drew loves to golf. He went with Matt to the driving range last night.
