Crumby People

I am wondering - Are you a crumby person? Is someone in your family rather crumby?

Chances are if you own a dog you can't even answer this question (ha, didn't think I was going there did you).

You see we had 2 dogs, then we had 1 dog and while I used to complain about the dog hair...I had NO idea just how crumby everyone in my family was until we had no dogs.

I have to sweep everyday, YES everyday - because there is a difference between stepping on dog hair and stepping on bread crumbs, cheese crumbles, and other various crumby foods.

So I ask you this, if you have a dog may I please borrow him for 5 minutes a day for the rest of my life?

We have no dogs but lots of crumbs. I think it comes with kids. We swiffer vac every night but inevitably there is a crumb that gets stuck to a sock or bare foot. Yuck!

This post makes me LAUGH because I sweep 1-2 times a day. I LOVE when our neighbor's dog sneaks in because he clears our floors!

How true! Cats work well at this, too. My two kittens feist on cereal and other droppings...

Our cat used to clean the floor. She would eat anything in her path, or bat it around towards the garbage can. It was hilarious!

We are getting a puppy...so I will bring him down. lol

I have a little dachshund that has great suction power! When ever the grandkids come over, we just let him in the dinning room to clean up. You can borrow him anytime!! ;-)

lol this was a great post Terra! The other day we were over at some friends and I looked under Sammy's chair to clean up and really wished we were at home so I wouldn't have to climb under the table to clean up his mess :-P

We never have crumbs, nor bits of cheese, nor bacon just lying about -- see, cause we have a dog -- and they're pretty much the best vacuum's ever. Interesting observation, Terra.

While with friends over Thanksgiving, I said to the Mom after surveying the damage left behind by their twin two year old boys, I said to her "clearly, you just need to get a dog."

I would let you borrow our dog b/c she is a great vacuum. But it is b/c of her wicked vacuum skills, that 2 separate people this week have made comments about her weight. Guess I gotta stop denying it and start making sure she gets a little less of our crumbs!!
