What I learned this week is hosted by JoLynn atMusings of a Housewife -
Today is one of those days that I could say so much and yet so few of those thoughts are actually coming together so I am going for the "list it" approach -
1. After having her tonsils and adenoids removed Hailey was back at the Dr. on Sunday (yes Sunday) with a double ear infection - Riddle me that one
2. After having her tonsils and adenoids removed Hailey has developed a squeak in her voice and to be totally honest - we are hoping it will go away
3. Summer break started 15 days ago and we yet to make it to the pool - first it was because of the surgery and lately it has been the weather - though I have to admit I am LOVING this cooler summer weather - I am a winter girl.
4. When scheduling a garage sale to finally take care of THIS problem...it would be smart to keep to look at your calendar and NOT schedule it over top of your daughters Post Op appt. If you do you will find yourself on the phone begging the scheduler to find something/anything that she can squeeze you in for this week so you can find out about the aforementioned squeak and more...
5. I was excited to receive some preview copies of the new TNT shows late last week. Some of them had already premiered others are premiering tonight! I am really looking forward to watching Saving Grace - this show is right up my ally, I screened Hawthorne with "him" last night and we were both intrigued - said it was "tivo worthy" but also talked about how Pilots are not usually the best - do you remember the Seinfeld Pilot? did it suck you in? Not I! And lastly if you are not totally fed up with reality TV yet - Wedding Day also premiers tonight - and while this show is NOT my cup of tea I am sure it will provide lots of viewing pleasure for many!

HEY! When did you change your blog title??? Very cute. Love the poem.
I went over to your other post. What a cool playroom and the girls' rooms are adorable. I don't think I'd ever seen those parts of your home.
I hope Hailey's squeak goes away.
Our weather is not great here in Pennsylvania either. Today is Kiki's first day of summer camp and they are headed to the pool in 60 degree weather. No thanks! Hopefully that squeak is a temporary thing. But your poor little girl can't seem to catch a break!
Saving Grace is one of my all time favorite shows!!! Love it so much.
We have had a lot of rain this summer too. nice change actually.
Oh, I'm sorry Hailey isn't out of the woods yet. And cooler summer weather sounds lovely--we are to the point of going swimming as frequently as possible to get some relief from the heat.
I can't wait for Hawthore...love Jada.
Squeak...really? Interesting.
Boo is getting over pneumonia. Got an ear infection. I feel your pain my dear!
Awww, I bet the voice is cute. Record it in case it changes!
I always forget channels like TNT...Hawthorne looks good!
I'm sorry to hear that your daughter was knocked down while she was already down! How horrible!
I am totally in agreement with the cool summer. It has been so lovely here in Northern Nevada, but it is supposed to hit 90 by week's end, and I'm not a bit happy about it!
oh boy - so were you successful with the rescheduling?
and that's too cool about the prescreening.
I love that you're not a summer girl either! Bring on the fall!
PS - jealous about your TNT preview! How cool!
oo were you able to get the appointment changed? I hope so... poor Hailey! Double Ear infections :(
So, is Mount Dumpall gone? We always seem to have a Mount Dumpall in our house, too. The odd thing is that it keeps moving from room to room. Who knew that mountains were portable?
A double ear infection??? You've got to be kidding me!!! Hope she is feeling better very soon.
Hmmm...and I've been complaining that I have nothing on Tivo to work out to now that the regular season is over...may need to check those out.
Good gracious, you do have a lot going on! Kudos on the TNT preview. They sent me a few things last year but I was a bad blogger and never did anything with them. Primarily because I don't watch TNT. But I'll look for your reviews!
Okay, had to do all my catching up -- and discovered you changed your "name"!!! I love it!
I can't believe Miss Hailey had a double ear infection. Poor thing.
And yes, for your sake and your sanity, I hope the squeek goes away. Does it ever end?....
I've missed ya -- and am excited about getting caught up with everyone!
HUGS!
