There's a party in the house

We were lucky enough to get to host a Juicy Juice House Party last night! There were tons of parties happening all over the country on April 18th! Juicy Juice has come out with a new group of juices to promote immunity and brain development! Available in Apple, grape and berry and the kids loved them all! Though Apple and Berry were hands down the most popular!

Nestle Juicy Juice sent us 4 boxes of great stuff to help make the party success! It was my first "House Party" and it was a success and I hope I get to do more! We all had a blast!!!

The Party title was "Juicy Juice Shining Moments House Party" - to help decorate we added balloons in Juicy Juice colors

Shining Red stars that had brain teasers on them (for brain development

Juicy Juice Cookies and the childrens names in cookies too!

To help promote immunity and brain development we had an "active" party! We had a Wii Bowling tournament

- Complete with a stinky bowler award for the lowest adult score (Odor Eaters!!)

We played Pool

We played Air Hockey

We Colored

We bowled

We Ate

We Drank

We had a blast!

We used the downloadable artwork available on the House Party site to create stickers for our take home bags and we filled our take home bags with all the great stuff Juicy Juice sent and more!

Juicy Juice Water Bottles

Juicy Juice Reusable Tote Bags

Juicy Juice Growth Charts
Juicy Juice Playing Cards

A quote from a party guest: "We had so much fun last night. The boys just kept saying.. "that was so fun". Thank you again."

We had fun too! Thanks to everyone for coming and to Juicy Juice and House Party for letting us do this!

Alicia Posted on her blog about the party too! Check it out if you have time!!!

If life came with a script

If life came with a script:

I would have known that I would not have had the time alone I was expecting today and done more ahead of time

I would have known that Lauren’s school was going to close at noon thus rendering leaving the house in the morning totally worthless

I would have known that the snow would come, and come it would

I would have known that said snow would be so heavy and wet my arms and back may never recover

and I would know if I would be able to walk tomorrow or not

I would have known that the UPS man delivering my last box of Juicy Juice would get stuck in front our house even though he had chains on his tires

I would have known that I was going to have to schlep out in the snow 4 (make that 5) times to brush off the satellite dish

And I would have known just how beautiful more than a foot of Rocky Mountain Spring snow was going to be

And I would have known how peaceful it would be to go outside alone at 9pm and shovel a couple more inches of snow aching and cringing and grunting set aside

But what fun would that have been? If I had known. I am glad I don't have a script.

Blackberry Makeover

My Blackberry is seriously way cooler this week than it was last week! You might remember when I posted passionately about VLINGO for Blackberry? The free application that lets you speak your emails, texts and more and really works?

Well, I am about to speak even MORE passionately about what "he who would rather not be named" can do for your Blackberry!

This is my pretty little phone

This is the back of my pretty little phone
And thanks to "he" I no longer have that Fugly background on my screen, and not just that - I mean you can get new wallpapers anywhere but he made me a whole new THEME and it matches my pretty little phone and I can fit more icons on my main screen!

SO my pretty pink paisleys that match my pretty little phone are on most of my screens, but since "he" is SO cool - just look at what is on my LOCK screen -

And if you want a pretty little theme to go with your pretty little phone he can make you one too! Drop me a note and I will put you in touch with "him" or you can go to Zimplifier.com and purchase a pre-made one like V.I.Pink or Simplicity or one similar to mine but without the owl Girl Pearl - available in various colors! For the storm users he has the "Perfect Storm" soon to be available in many colors too!
"He" thinks I am lame because I like the "L" shape but "he" can do so much more, he can make your icons scroll on your screen (so you don't have to hit the menu button)! How cool is that! You really have to check this stuff out! We are not talking about just pretty pictures here- "he" makes full on themes - better functionality for your Blackberry!
NOW I CALL ON YOU - PLEASE help me spread the word about Zimplifier.com and all the great themes for blackberry! If you would, mention it in one of your posts this week and link over to Zimplifier! If you do let me know - I might be able to talk "him" into offering you a discount for spreading the word!

It's a Jungle out there

There is nothing better than a room full of parents fighting for the best camera position to watch a preschool performance!

But I have to say Hailey's school ROCKS when it comes to these things! Her class has all turned 4 (except her of course) and some are nearing 5 already! Yet each kid, Hailey included had a line to say. A solo so to speak and they all did great! It is such wonderful practice for future!

Hailey's line is " Elephants are plant eaters!!" (watch the big white bows)

and she said it big and she said it loud and it was adorable!

They sing, they dance

and overall they do a great job of entertaining us for 30 minutes!

And when they're done - we all go home for bed!
PS: in case you didn't miss this post - it is snowing, I am freezing - it is way past my bedtime and now I hope we do have a snowday so I don't have to get dressed tomorrow (Friday)!

Juicy Juice House Party

WOO HOO! I was lucky enough to get accepted to host a Juicy Juice House party and I am so excited! We are having a small group of friends over to play Wii Bowling and sample Juicy Juice's New Brain Development and Immunity Boosting Juices! As part of the gig they sent me boxes and boxes of stuff to help make the party a success!!

There is a whole lot more but I don't want to spoil all the fun! I will post after the gathering!!!

Will it rain or will it snow now??

When you live in Colorado you get weather reports like this (note - I put in red the parts that apply directly to our area):

ABC
How quickly temperatures drop after the passage of this cold front will be a big influence in how much snow falls between Thursday and Saturday. If the potential snow forecast becomes reality, then travel will be difficult and dangerous along the urban corridor and Front Range Foothills. In the most extreme possibility, 10 to 20 inches of snow is possible, with the heaviest snowfall occurring to the west and south of Denver. The foothills and mountains could see more than two feet of snow. A WINTER STORM WATCH and a WINTER STORM WARNING are in effect for communities along the Interstate 25 corridor

NBC
The snow forecast for Denver and the Front Range is very complicated. If all of the precipitation that falls on Friday and Saturday is in the form of snow, then more than a foot of snow could accumulate. But the 9NEWS Weather Team agrees that at this time, temperatures look too warm for significant accumulation for areas below 5,500 feet which includes most locations around the metro area. For Colorado Springs and the southern Interstate 25 corridor, a total of 1 to 2 feet of new snow is possible for mountain areas and 6 inches or more could potentially fall over the adjacent plains.

TWC (this one is zip code specific so I didn't highlight it in red)
Tonight Cloudy with rain and snow this evening, becoming all snow overnight. Thunder is possible early. 2 to 4 inches of snow expected.
Tomorrow Cloudy with snow. Cold. Snow accumulating 5 to 8 inches.
Tomorrow night Snow likely. Significant snow accumulation possible.
Saturday Snow likely. Highs in the mid 40s and lows in the mid 30s.

So what's it gonna be?
Do I need to pick up an extra gallon of milk and a loaf of bread or not?

Shopping with Hailey

Shopping with li'l diva is such a treat. She wears what is bought right out of the store every time! Today it was this hot little bohemian headband complete with dangles longer than her hair and a flower larger than her hand!
