And yet another downside

Here we are at another downside of being a sister. Hand be down clothes...The good news - Hailey's big sister was SUPER gentle on clothes and most of them still look brand new, and most of them came from Grandma so they are also very nice quality and stand the test of time (not too trendy) because 5 years is a LONG time to hold clothes for the little one!

I recently went through all the hand be downs - (what a task) and also had Hailey try on the clothes that should fit her this summer. The girls are shaped a bit different (Hailey's toddler tummy sits up above her waste and when Lauren was her age she was a little thicker around the waste) but most of the clothes fit well, look nice and Hailey felt like a super star trying them on!

She has never done any modleing - though I think she would LOVE it, and seems to have a bit of a natural talent for posing!

And I could not resist the rumpuss shot in the swim suit. I am sorry, but it is TOO CUTE

(PS - I didn't set out to take all the modeling shots, I set out to take pictures so I knew what I was putting away for her till spring! but this was fun non the less)

I think she is adorable in that little green trench. I wish I could shrink so I could wear it.

As usual, cute beyond words. I love Mr. Riley scratching his back in the background.

First if your daughter was any cuter I wouldn't be able to stand it! Second those clothes are so cute! I was the younger sister.. so I am fully aware of the benefits (and the downfalls) of the hand be downs.. but when I was little I called them handy downs :-P

My favorite pose is her in the pink belly-baring outfit. Too cute and she's doing some sort of chicken dance.

It's always a chore to go through the clothes but think of all the money we're saving. I do the same thing for my boys.

She is adorable -- if it weren't a lot of work, I'd say see if you could get her in to modelling.

And hand-me-downs are the best -- and they look like they're in great shape.

And love, love, love the St. Patty's day blog look.

Definitely a natural! Maybe my kids would enjoy trying on clothes more if I took pictures? I just get "Mooooomm! All of those? No fair!"

she is adorable and totally should be in print ads. I love her hair.

meanwhile - I think I want that green trench for myself. Oh, and I love the dog in the background. Claire does the same thing!!!
