Self Portrait....
Before you go getting all giddy with excitement this is NOT a self portrait of ME...No, not me. It is Hailey's. I was busy (goofing off on the computer) and told her to go draw a picture of herself for me and bring it back...approximately 2.4 seconds later this comes back...

I am so laughing - she has some mighty strange lookin' body parts goin' there! Good drawing though.
A true artist. Those could be designs on a dress(?) Since that didn't take very long and she has a great imagination and sense of space, you'll have to ask her to draw the whole family ~ including grandparents ~ standing in a forest, with a river...you get the idea...make it really, really detailed and see what she comes back with! I would love to see what she comes up with! How is she with clay or playdough? I bet she will be an artist when she is older ~ either professionaly or as a serious hobby :o)

I'm looking at another picture drawn by a four year old, as I type reports this morning. Well, Haley's picture is definitely better. This one I'm looking at has big eyes, big nose, no hair, long legs, no arms, and I think a small body piece. Although, I believe this girl is wearing a fancy dress with fancy shoes because she is going to a ball.
